Just My Photos ~ A Giant WHAT ????
Speechless Sundays AHHHH!!
Whenever I travel, one of the things I enjoy most is finding out of the way places to explore. On a trip to the Big Island of Hawaii, we found hidden away in the hills over looking the ocean, a small sculpture garden with this rather Giant Bug? Or Monster? Whatever he was, I’m glad he was just a hunk of metal or I would have been chow!

Interesting photo..... I lived in Hawaii for 12 years and am always glad to see photos from there.
Good morning, Janis.....that creation looks like it's part turtle, king crab and grasshopper.... someone had a vivid imagination....
Looks like a GIANT opportunity for an imaginative blog! Interesting how someone's imaginative work triggers someone else's imagination as well!
Yes, I'm so glad it's just a big hunk of metal, too!
Hi Janis, This is a great shot and very interesting and unique, indeed. Thanks for sharing, have a great Sunday.
David~ I certainly have some truly beautiful photos from Hawaii... but this was just fun for today! thanks for the visit!
Barbara ~ It was huge! and he was not alone! More of them high up on a hill overlooking the ocean.. with flowers and the smell of fresh air and a beautiful breeze... I love exploring..
Emily ~ It could be the start of a sci fi movie.. and they could film it in the gardens..
Debbie ~ i would NOT want to meet this guy anywhere...
Gary ~ Fun to share some photos more than others.. This was really cool.
What a funny photo - I hope they weren't ever that big over there! LOL
Debbie ~ makes you wonder about the dinosaurs... no?
I don't believe I've ever seen a praying Mantis quite that large. Glad it wasn't alive and hungry!!
Good morning Janis -
Maybe a gigantic Praying Mantis... at least that's what he looks like to me. He'd fit right in with Albuquerque's Green Day festival of making art out of scrap metal, tires, etc. I like seeing cool and unique things along the Interstate or around town.
Make it a grand Sunday and enjoy all you do to the fullest my friend.
The Q - Man
if you were smaller than a praying mantis, it could be a very scary thing indeed! what was that movie, "honey I shrunk the kids"
Good Morning Craig ~ yes... he does look like one for sure... The place was really fun.. nobody there at this tiny sanctuary but the owner, two dogs, my husband and me.. and these really weird statues.... I love to travel!
Janis that is a scary looking creature, so glad it is not real; coming from someone who will run if a squirrel gets too close:)
Giant sized he was... Really interesting location with great views.
What a cool photo! I can't tell what the heck that is :) It looks like a big, giant, "mutt" ... a mixture of insect, monster, amphibian, crustacian, etc. Whoever created it has a vivid imagination ... great shot!
